Background

Mike joined National Development in 2018 after seventeen years in private practice at Nutter, McClennen & Fish in Boston, the last nine years as a partner.  Mike has extensive experience in real estate transactions both locally and nationally.  During his time at Nutter, he represented a variety of national and local institutional property owners, developers, REITs and financial institutions on a wide range of real estate transactions with a primary focus on leasing, acquisitions, dispositions and financings involving downtown office and retail properties, suburban office buildings, parks and shopping centers, mixed-use developments, residential properties and warehouse and industrial properties.

Mike was named to “The Best Lawyers in America” list in 2018, was named a “Leading U.S. Real Estate Attorney” by Chambers and Partners from 2010 to 2017, was named a “Massachusetts Super Lawyer” in Boston Magazine in 2017, was named a “Leading U.S. Real Estate Associate to Watch” by Chambers and Partners from 2007 to 2009, and was named a “Massachusetts Super Lawyers Rising Star” in Boston Magazine seven times from 2006 through 2014.
