Tony’s first date with his wife of 35 years was at the Circle Cinema at Cleveland Circle that was recently redeveloped by National Development.

Education

BS Civil/Structural Engineering, Northeastern University, Boston, MA

Background

Although Tony’s educational background is in civil/structural engineering, his career has been in construction and specifically estimating since graduating from Northeastern University in 1982. His first job was a drywall estimator for commercial projects in the Baltimore/Washington area. After getting married he moved back to the Boston area and joined a family owned general contractor specializing in high end residential renovations and development. In 1989 he joined Boston Development Associates and became their Chief Estimator. Their focus was primarily on competitive bid retail projects in the northeast states. In 1994 he joined Cranshaw Construction as the head of Estimating and Pre-Construction. Tony recently joined National’s development group to focus his efforts full time on early due diligence, budgeting, and constructability.
